Today is the Day to Pray!

Greetings – all of us are in the USA!  Kevin and Ben arrived safely and joined Cami and Toby in Arkansas for a short visit with him.  Since then, the 3 of us have traveled through 8 states and visited family and supporters, and are now based in Tennessee for one month.  Toby continues at college, which is going very well and their covid numbers are low.  We are so happy to be back together!!  3 months was long.

Meanwhile, Cami is still working with AfriGO and asks for your prayers as the next issue is due to the designer and it is not near finished.  There have been some deaths in team members’ extended families and other complications like shutdowns of social media in Tanzania for elections, making it hard to interview people!  www.afrigo.org

Today is a big day – we believe that the Hazels’ work permits are up for renewal before the approval board in Namibia.  Would you please join with us in praying for a YES vote?

The Grahams, who adopted four Namibian children 2 years ago, have just applied for citizenship for those children.  Please pray that these citizenships are approved quickly and with no complications.

The Wildgens are still awaiting a passport for one child before they can apply for work permits to work at the Bible School in Windhoek.

We will be settling into our long-term accommodations in Fairfield, CT, at the end of the month and look forward to celebrating the holidays with family and connecting with many of you in that part of the country!

Funny story we heard from the Hazels – last month they were distributing a significant amount of food purchased with monies from AIM’s benevolence fund, and a member of the community stole some of it overnight from the church.   However, the San Bushmen are the best trackers in the world, so they just tracked the thief and got the food back.  Inevitable result, right?

Please note that our email address has changed from kczwart@aimint.org to kevin.zwart@aimint.org as the system has changed to individual email addresses.  Please mark us as “safe”.

You guys are awesome – thank you so much for your prayers and support.  We look forward to visiting!

Below, all of us together again at John Brown University!  We helped a family member build a walk for wheelchair access to the house, and carved pumpkins at Cami’s cousin’s house.  So fun to do American holiday things – Ben really enjoyed it.  Even more fun to see loved ones.  🙂
