Zambian Team, Tragedy Story, and Marriage Seminars!
Zambian Short-term Team
Kevin hosted his first all-African mission exploration team last month and it was challenging but so encouraging to see their willingness to plunge into the seven local ministries they visited. From the Centre for Christian Mission in Kitwe, Zambia, they traveled 2 days by bus to reach Namibia.
Kevin worked with them on missions exposure, cross-cultural training as well as a short course on missions in the Bible. Their Namibian hosts also enjoyed the visit and we hope to see some missionaries come out of the group in the future. Many of them have had professional careers and all have a strong commitment to following God’s call.

AfriGO: magazine, website, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube!
Work continues on AfriGO’s various platforms, and recently Cami edited a story by one of our collaborators into a four-part series for social media. This story, about the murder of a missionary and his child by the Fulani in Nigeria, shows the reality that some African missionaries face. You can read it on the AfriGO stories page at www.afrigo.org/stories .
Cami could really use some help with technical aspects of the website work – know anyone willing to give a few hours a month?
Visitors from the USA encourage Namibians – and us
Joel and Karen Rissinger, who have been pastoring (and starting) churches for over 30 years, recently came by after their ministry trip to Zambia. They spent almost 2 weeks in Namibia, and Kevin organized five marriage seminars, which they taught to great acclaim and appreciation from Namibians here in Windhoek and in the North. Marriage seminars are not widely given in Namibia, and their practical, Biblical advice was well-received. They were also a great encouragement to us and we enjoyed having them here. They minister with Standing Stones in the USA, traveling around and encouraging pastors, and you can see Joel’s book Things Your Pastor Would Love to Say – But Can’t! here.

Please don’t stop praying!
1. Please pray that the scholarship for Charlie’s school next year comes through.
2. Praise God for Toby’s safe arrival to Cami’s sister and parents on Molokai and two part-time jobs for him for the summer!
3. Pray for Kevin as he plans a trip to Angola for July, for the first time since 1996! After his visit, he’ll likely take over as from Cami as Unit Leader for Angola. Pray for the Epp family from Brazil as they raise support.
4. Cami was in a minor car accident last month (rear-ended by a taxi) – she’s had significant back and neck pain. Please pray for recovery. We are thankful for the medical resources here for her.
5. Pray for Kevin as he plans Namibia’s first-ever missions conference in August along with the SIM mission director here in Namibia.
6. Pray for Cami as she works with AfriGO – so many decisions every week, so much wisdom needed, so many details!
