Prayer and Praise items
Prayer and Praise:
1. FUN. We all know Kevin will have a great time seeing family and friends where ever he goes…but especially pray for this time together with our dear Toby.
2. Keep Cami and Charlie in your prayers as they “carry on carrying on”. Pray that it is a special time for them together and God to continue to heal them both after surgeries and to emotionally connect (and laugh a lot too!). Both are healing great so far.
3. WORK PERMIT RENEWAL! In order to continue to serve in Namibia, we have to apply to renew our Work Permit. every two years. Sometime it is straightforward, other times it can be…complicated. Please pray the documents, letters of reference, etc. all are accepted.
4. ANGOLA: Five days after Kevin gets back from the USA he heads off again to teach a two week intensive class at ISTEL in Lubango, Angola. Pray for him to find the time and concentration needed to finish organizing the material and them translating it into Portuguese! It is a first for him to teach a Bachelors level class—and in Portuguese no less.
5. Toby will go to Cami’s family in Hawaii in late May to start working to make some cash while he investigates where to go for the needed Master’s degree (he wants to be a Trauma Counselor). Pray for him for a good job and wisdom on what is next. And you can pray for him over the next few weeks as he wraps up his time at John Brown University.
